Growing up in Austria—let’s face it, one of the most beautiful countries in the world—I had the privilege of enjoying snowy mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and most importantly, a free, high-quality education. My parents, both Austrians, are avid travellers and self-taught polyglots. My father speaks seven languages fluently, my mother five, and apart from English, they learned these languages as adults. In summers, we visited many European countries, and on school days, I often woke up to the sound of my father’s Russian audio courses. This early exposure definitely set the stage for my journey!

...and spending time in places like the U.S., Syria, and Egypt, I settled in the Canary Islands, where I’ve had the pleasure of teaching German to a diverse range of students—from toddlers to seniors in their 70s. My experience includes teaching at a language school, a kindergarten, two hotels, two primary and secondary schools, and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Whether working with young children or adults, I deeply believe that language learning should be enjoyable, and I strive to make the process as engaging and rewarding as it has always been for me.
